Flock Web Browser
I’ve seen the google ads everywhere, they’ve been driving me mad, I figured it was time for me to check out what this “Flock” web browser is all about. I’ve just installed it at work on my PC. It crashed 4 times in a row upon opening it. Something about C++ runtime having a hissy fit.
I’m writing this post from within flock’s “blog editor” right now. I’ll try the browser out for a little while and report back… not bad so far! The integration with Facebook is very nice, and some might find this feature worth the install!

Hey James,
Sorry to hear you had some crashes…that’s very odd, we almost never hear about crashes.
If you run into any more problems, please feel free to email me at evan at flock dot com. I’ll try to hunt down your issue and clear it up.
Flock on,

This is one of my favorite browsers, but I’ve never used it on the PC side. I use the included photo uploader all of the time, my only problem with it is the initial load time.
Hey James
I know this is on another topic but is there any chance that you have the afp_mount file from appletv v1, my 1.1 version doesn’t come with it and it’s stopping me from getting afp working!
I really appreciate your help, cheers Greg.
Nice, so your using the Mac version? I might install it and check it out
yes, I use the Mac version, my wife has a PC laptop I might check it out on or maybe i’ll install in in Fusion so I can use the Unity feature to do a side by side comparison.
Greg, sorry, I don’t have ATV 1.0, Mine is also 1.1..
James
Evan, thanks for taking the time to post a comment on my blog. Your very dedicated!
