So, I bought a “PlayTV” from the UK. It is basically a PVR, it records free-to-air television to your Playstation 3 hard disk. Nice.
I’ve only had a quick play, the EPG is nice, and it works. Recorded a show to disk, worked fine.
I’m going to need to upgrade the hard disk in the PS3 to deal with the recordings I think!

Good choice. I have one too, perfect bit of kit. Getting some new updates soon aswell.
Itching for an update, hopefully the hardware remains unchanged and we get a software update that fixes the glitches, choppiness and other stuff! bring it on!
Glitches, chopiness? I don’t get that at all (if i do it’s usually the aerial slipping out or needs pushing in), I think that might be due to poor signal strength..perhaps?
