Wow this is cool. I just found this with a but of Apple TV searching. You can use your iPhone or iPod touch (or any web browser device) as an Apple TV remote control! Why you would want to I do not know, but here’s the link anyway:

Well everyone in my opinion should be protecting their new nano against nasty scratches. I hate babying the nano everywhere I go so as to not scratch it!
I did a little poke around on ebay when the new nano was first released, nothing. A couple of weeks later, boom, someone in China (HK) is flogging silicon cases. The pictures didn’t look that accurate, I ordered two cases anyway (one for me, one for a mate). I told my mate not to expect a well made or good fitting case, oh well. They arrived, and you know what, they fit perfectly, look good, and work just as you’d expect. It’s much like the case I had my previous nano. Fantastic! Now I’m not scared to put the nano down on ‘whatever’ surface, or scared to sit it in the car glovebox for when I’m on the road.

I picked up a new iPod nano, don’t ask how. I rang my local Apple store (digilife) whom I’m a regular customer of, spoke to Ben, asked him to order me an iPod nano, black, 8gig. He said, “next thur/fri if your lucky”. I said fine.
Later that day (fri), I get a call, it’s Ben. “we got you your nano, don’t ask how, and we don’t have spares, your very lucky”.
wooo! So i headed there Sat morning to pick it up. All I can say is WOW. I don’t know how they are going to improve on this thing! the screen is AMAZING, Steve wasn’t kidding when he said it’s the highest resolution screen Apple had ever released on a product. It’s absolutely incredible. I’ve cranked out a movie on it already, looks so crystal clear! Wouldn’t want to be watching lots of movies on it though, screen is only 2″. Great for video podcasts which I watch a lot.
Now I just need to wait for Nike to release a new armband for it so I can use it when walking the dog. Half the reason I have nano’s is for the nike+ kit 
Wow, what a morning, I was up at the usual 6am’ish, jumped on my notebook to see what Apple had released.
new iPods! new nano’s, new “classic” iPod’s and the new iPod Touch! Pretty neat! What else? ringtones for iTunes (this was bound to happen). I’m still watching the keynote now, so may or may not post more later!
Still no movies/tv shows for Aus iTunes, not happy!
