new Macbook Pro battery
My Macbook Pro is over two years old now, it’s a 2Ghz core duo, revision A, as in… the first Macbook made available by Apple!
Sometime down the track Apple did a battery recall, I had a new battery sent to me to replace the existing one. How nice.
Some 184 cycles later and the battery only lasts about 40 mins. I asked my local Apple service centre if I could get a replacement, thinking my chances would be slim. How wrong was I!
Here I am, with a fresh, brand new, Macbook Pro battery! This goes nicely with the new pack I bought off ebay (also brand new) for around $70 AUD. Score, two really fresh batteries ![]()
Just need to take care of the little guys now! hehe. If you have a Rev A Macbook Pro, you might be able to get yourself a new battery (if yours is on it’s way out)… you should at least try!
