So I bought a Macbook Pro 13″

I was really impressed with my wife’s unibody Macbook 13″ so I bought a 13″ Macbook Pro. It’s nice, the screen is nice, it’s fast. Going from an old 15″ Macbook Pro, to this, big difference to be honest.

Glad they put firewire back. Really need it for my video camera (Canon HV30)

Sony PlayTV

So, I bought a “PlayTV” from the UK. It is basically a PVR, it records free-to-air television to your Playstation 3 hard disk. Nice.
I’ve only had a quick play, the EPG is nice, and it works. Recorded a show to disk, worked fine.

New Mac’s

A few weeks ago Melissa and I purchased a new Macbook from her uni.. a 2.4Ghz Unibody Macbook. It’s nice, and it’s fast, and it’s quicker than her old 1.8Ghz Macbook Pro.
2 weeks later, Apple released new Macbook’s again and pulled the Macbook 13″ unibody into the “Pro” line.
The update isn’t really worth getting upset [...]
